Job Summary We are hiring a Shipping Clerk to coordinate outgoing shipments and support warehouse operations in a print production environment. This first-shift position involves processing shipments, preparing shipping documents, verifying order accuracy, and operating material-handling equipment.

PM Schedule:

Monday-Friday Plus Overtime Essential Duties & Responsibilities Review job tickets, equipment schedules, and system reports to verify production quantities and ensure shipments are accurate and complete. Prepare and verify bills of lading, packing lists, packing slips, and shipping documentation . Send advance shipping notices (ASNs) to applicable clients. Process orders using the UPS shipping system and follow established procedures for shipping customer samples. Scan, sort, wrap, and label pallets, skids, and cartons according to job specifications. Verify shipment weights and ensure all products are accounted for. Build truckloads and load and unload trucks using forklifts and clamp trucks safely. Follow established procedures for EDDM orders and required post office reports. Fulfill paper and material requests from the press department accurately and on time. Communicate daily shipping activity, discrepancies, problems, and supply needs to leads, supervisors, and management. Follow company safety, housekeeping, and personal protective equipment procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area. Perform other related shipping and warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements At least 1 year of hands-on experience with FedEx shipping, UPS WorldShip, or UPS shipping systems required. Experience with at least one is sufficient. Ability to read and follow job tickets, shipping instructions, and production documentation. Strong attention to detail when checking quantities, weights, labels, and shipping records. Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate with shipping, warehouse, and production teams. Preferred Skills Basic computer and math skills. Familiarity with shipping documentation, warehouse procedures, and inventory accuracy. Knowledge of print production workflows, job tickets, and quality standards. Forklift or clamp truck operating experience. Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of safe material-handling practices.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
