Based in Morrilton Arkansas, the company is expanding its operations and has relocated to a new headquarters on Telex Drive, reflecting its growth and commitment to excellence. Job Overview Robinson Enterprises, Inc. is a family-owned and operated distribution company with deep roots and a growth mindset. We are seeking an adaptable, people-focused Warehouse Manager to lead our 40-person warehouse team in Morrilton, Arkansas. As we are preparing to expand our staff, this role focuses heavily on servant leadership, workplace morale, safety compliance, and cross-departmental unity. A primary goal for this leader is to strengthen the workplace relationship and build strong, positive bridges between warehouse personnel and office personnel. Since a dedicated Logistics Clerk handles routing and freight coordination, your energy will focus on team leadership, inventory precision, strict safety protocols, and keeping floor staff positive and engaged through operational changes.
Key Responsibilities Culture & Relationship Building:
Actively foster a cohesive, respectful, and unified relationship between warehouse personnel and office staff, breaking down departmental barriers.
Morale & Engagement:
Maintain a positive attitude with direct reports; lead daily shift huddles or "toolbox talks" to keep warehouse personnel positive, engaged, and highly motivated, especially during periods of operational growth and change.
Safety & OSHA Compliance:
Serve as the primary champion for facility safety. Enforce strict compliance with OSHA regulations and internal company guidelines; conduct regular safety meetings and housekeeping audits to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
Hiring & Development Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Personnel department by sitting in on candidate interviews and serving as a key decision-maker. Take full ownership of hands-on onboarding, identifying skill gaps, and developing current team members.
Staff Accountability & Performance:
Manage daily labor scheduling, track attendance, and approve leave requests. Issue disciplinary actions, verbal/written warnings, and performance improvement plans in close coordination with Personnel Manager when necessary.
Adaptability & Schedule Flexibility:
Manage daily floor operations during standard hours, while maintaining the flexibility to work overtime hours as required by shifting business volume and seasonal demands.
Collaborative Process Improvements:
Partner with other members of the management team to identify facility layout and workflow efficiencies. Present all proposed changes to Administration for review and final approval prior to implementation.
Facility & Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee the daily housekeeping and organization of the floor; inspect and coordinate the routine upkeep of forklifts and pallet jacks.
Daily Floor Supervision:
Oversee routine receiving, order picking, staging, loading, and inventory control to protect accuracy.
Policy Enforcement:
Routinely enforce all company policies, standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the 40-person warehouse team with fairness, consistency, and clear accountability.
Policy Development Collaboration:
Partner directly with Administration and Personnel (HR) to review existing guidelines, identify operational gaps, and help develop new workplace policies. Ensure all proposed rules are practical for the warehouse floor before submitting them to Administration for final review and approval.
Required Qualifications & Physical Demands Experience:
3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with proven experience leading a mid-sized crew (25-50 people).
Safety Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, warehouse safety protocols, and material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to routinely lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods throughout the workday.
Work Environment:
Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to varying seasonal temperatures (heat/cold) and moderate machinery noise.
Leadership & Change Management:
Outstanding track record of driving high employee engagement, coaching teams through change, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to unite different teams (such as floor staff and office staff) and work collaboratively with peer managers.
Technical Aptitude:
