Responsibilities Warehouse Administrator is an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities , focusing on the organization and flow of inventory. This position involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while also maintaining accurate records and inventory levels. Manage warehouse management system (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to track inventory levels, process orders, and update records accurately. Oversee shipping logistics including scheduling shipments, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery. Supervise shipping & receiving operations, including loading and unloading goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Maintain precise inventory management through regular stock counts, data entry, and reconciliation using inventory management software. Facilitate order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment in accordance with customer specifications. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during import/export processes. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock placement, stocking shelves, and optimizing storage solutions. Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies and respond promptly to inquiries related to shipments or inventory. Assist in training new staff on warehouse operations, safety protocols, and the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and MRP systems. Skills Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar systems. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and load & unload procedures. Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in records and reports. Basic math skills for inventory calculations, measurements, and order processing. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment; forklift certification is preferred. Familiarity with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, carriers, and vendors. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
