In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution center activities, ensuring seamless logistics, inventory control, and team management. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse workflows, and uphold safety standards to support our company's growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a motivated team focused on efficiency and safety. Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely deliveries. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow productivity and reduce waste. Manage inventory control systems, including inventory management systems and RF scanners, to maintain accurate stock levels. Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize transportation schedules and delivery routes within distribution center operations. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols during all warehouse activities, including heavy lifting and material handling. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, generate reports, and streamline operations. Skills Extensive experience in warehouse operations, including distribution center management and logistics coordination. Proficiency with inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication. Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and efficiently. Strong team leadership abilities with excellent managerial communication skills to motivate staff and manage performance. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, heavy lifting procedures, and shipping & receiving best practices. Ability to analyze processes for continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse distribution workflows.
