Job Description

Step into a vital role as a Warehouse & Delivery Supervisor at People's. As the connecting tissue between our production floor and Sales/Distribution teams, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Distribution Center — supervising the Warehouse Delivery Associate team, approving PTO and per diem, and prepping and staging outgoing orders. You'll ensure strong communication between Sales and Production so product is available to fulfill incoming orders, receive and verify supply orders and product moves, and pitch in on deliveries throughout California as needed. Your organization, communication, and leadership skills will be essential in keeping product moving smoothly from production through delivery. Responsibilities:
Approve PTO and per diem for the warehouse/delivery team Supervise, schedule, and support Warehouse Delivery Associates, covering shifts as needed Prep and stage outgoing orders for distribution Serve as the primary connection between the production floor and Sales/Distribution, ensuring clear guidance on incoming orders Ensure strong communication between the Sales and Production teams to ensure product is available to fulfill incoming orders Receive product moves from Production and ensure accompanying paperwork is accurate and complete Receive, check in, and put away supply orders against purchase orders/manifests Accept and verify quality of incoming products, including pulling and testing unified samples Ensure accuracy of received orders, assist with cycle counts, and resolve physical/digital inventory discrepancies Bag, tag, and box product; maintain packing materials and staging areas Flag items needing correction and notify manager of needed destructions Maintain customer information in the CRM system Load, transport, and deliver items safely and on schedule, covering routes as needed Verify deliveries against manifest/invoice and maintain a clean driving record in compliance with transportation laws Report vehicle issues and complete weekly inspections and maintenance logs
Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience in Distribution, Warehouse, or Delivery operations, including prior supervisory or lead experience (preferred) Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, minimum age of 21, and ability to pass a criminal background check Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-service focused Knowledge of Cannabis compliance rules and regulations preferred; forklift certification a plus Passion for the cannabis industry and willingness to adhere to safety procedures and transportation laws Physical Demands & Work Environment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
