A Distribution Center Manager oversees day-to-day workflow and employees of a distribution center. This includes tasks like receiving, storage, shipping, and expense management. May involve management of suppliers.
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (possible weekend work at auction time) A division of the Euro Auctions Group, Yoder and Frey have been conducting auctions of construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and agricultural machinery since 1964 with sites based in Florida, Ohio, Texas and Georgia.
Key Activities:
Manage all yard operations to ensure the smooth running of all auctions. Oversee the booking in of all auctions stock ensuring accuracy of descriptions and correct procedures are followed. Safe coordination and control of all loading and unloading activities. Ensure all auction stock is suitably prepared for sale, photographed, and displayed on the company website. Manage and coordinate the workloads of all yard staff and subcontractors. Liaise with the marketing team to ensure all equipment is photographed. Resolve any stock related issues. Liaise with customers and haulers on suitable delivery and collection times.

The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to work calmly under pressure. They will have strong leadership and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a practical, hands-on approach. A positive attitude, excellent problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering high standards of customer service and teamwork are essential.

The Requirements Essential Criteria:
Valid Driver's License Fluent in written and spoken English is essential. Minimum of 5 years managerial experience. Experience in a similar role. Experience in heavy plant machinery and good knowledge of the different categories. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Be able to prioritize, multitask and use initiative Flexible and available to work extra hours at short notice during busy auction periods.
