Operations & Accounting Manager (QuickBooks) Perfume Distribution

Job Overview We are a fast-growing perfume and cosmetics distribution company looking for someone who can take full ownership of day-to-day operations and accounting. This is not a basic bookkeeping role — you will be responsible for keeping the business organized, financially accurate, and operationally efficient. Key Responsibilities Accounting & QuickBooks Manage all bookkeeping in QuickBooks (A/R, A/P, reconciliations) Maintain accurate financial records and reports Track cash flow, expenses, and margins Handle invoicing, vendor payments, and collections Prepare monthly P&L and basic financial insights Operations Management Oversee daily operations of perfume distribution Manage inventory tracking, stock levels, and purchase orders Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners Ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping Identify inefficiencies and fix them (not just report them) Requirements 3+ years experience with QuickBooks (must be hands-on, not theoretical) Experience in distribution, wholesale, or inventory-based business Strong understanding of inventory + accounting connection Highly organized and detail-oriented Problem solver — you fix issues without waiting to be told Strong communication and accountability Preferred Experience in beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics industry Experience with inventory management systems Understanding of margins, pricing, and supply chain Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based incentives possible
