Job Title:
Warehouse Manager - Exhibit Company Position Summary The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, maintenance, and logistics of exhibit properties, rentals, materials, and equipment. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy, staff leadership, workflow organization, safety compliance, and ensuring all outbound and inbound shipments support production schedules and client event timelines. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Logistics  Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping of exhibit materials.  Oversee preparation and return of exhibits for trade shows, events, and installations.  Ensure all outbound freight is properly packed, labeled, documented, and meets carrier/vendor requirements.  Coordinate inbound returns, inspect for damages, report issues, and ensure proper restocking or repair routing.  Maintain efficient warehouse layout, optimizing space, flow, and accessibility. Inventory Management  Oversee physical inventory of client-owned properties, rental items, hardware, graphics, and consumables.  Ensure inventory counts are accurate and updated frequently in the management system.  Implement and maintain inventory control processes, including cycle counts, labeling, and asset tracking.  Collaborate with project managers to ensure exhibit property readiness for upcoming shows. Staff Leadership & Development  Supervise warehouse staff, including leads, drivers, general labor, and temporary workers.  Schedule staffing based on workload and event calendar.  Train team members on processes, equipment use, safety, and quality standards.  Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing environment. Safety & Compliance  Enforce OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies throughout the warehouse.  Ensure proper use and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, tools, ladders, and other equipment.  Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free warehouse at all times. Quality Control  Inspect exhibits, crates, and materials prior to shipment to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appearance.  Monitor repair needs and coordinate with fabrication teams to resolve issues.  Ensure client assets are maintained in excellent condition. Cross-Department Collaboration  Work closely with Project Managers, Production, Install/Strike Teams, and Account Managers to meet deadlines.  Support production timelines by providing accurate material pulls and timely job staging.  Communicate inventory shortages, conflicts, or concerns proactively. Systems & Reporting  Utilize warehouse and inventory management software to track assets and workflows.  Maintain shipping records, BOLs, freight quotes, and job documentation.  Monitor KPIs such as throughput, accuracy, freight cost control, and labor efficiency. Qualifications  3-5+ years of warehouse management experience; trade show/exhibit industry preferred but not mandatory.  Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and warehouse workflow.  Experience supervising teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).  Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.  Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.  Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a hands-on warehouse setting.
Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
