Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive BC 'Business Contact' Manager specializing in Delivery Driver Management within our Pickup & Delivery (P&D) operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the coordination and management of delivery drivers, ensuring seamless distribution processes, optimizing delivery routes, and maintaining high standards of operational efficiency. Your leadership will drive continuous process improvements, foster team development, and uphold safety and compliance standards across the distribution network. Responsibilities Lead and supervise delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and company policies. Develop and implement efficient transportation planning strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Assist with maintenance management on vehicles and reporting. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control, and order fulfillment activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws, and company policies. Utilize systems like DRO, GroundCloud, and other supply chain tools for accurate data tracking, reporting, and decision-making. Skills Strong understanding of profit & loss management within logistics operations. Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as lean or continuous improvement frameworks. Expertise in transportation planning, freight management, and distribution operations. Familiarity with warehouse supervisor experience, inventory management systems, and warehouse operations. Skilled in supply chain management including demand planning, production planning, inventory control, and materials management. Demonstrated team management capabilities with effective managerial communication skills. Experience supervising logistics teams with a focus on transportation management, shipping & receiving, Mapping, and warehouse supervision.
