Job Description
Adecco is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Delivery Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, delivery scheduling, and team performance for a premier client in Whitmore Lake, MI. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring products are received, stored, staged, and delivered accurately and on time while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has experience managing warehouse personnel, coordinating logistics, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced building materials environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise warehouse and delivery team members. Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and deliveries. Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate customer service. Oversee loading and unloading activities and ensure safe material handling practices. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records. Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies. Train, coach, and develop warehouse and delivery personnel. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and OSHA standards. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficiency. Coordinate with sales, service, and installation teams to prioritize customer needs. Monitor delivery vehicle maintenance schedules and compliance requirements. Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of team members. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
