COMPENSATION
Annual stipend of $2,500
SCHEDULE:
Supplemental duties performed throughout the school year, with workload concentrated around assessment windows. One class period may be designated for assessment coordination duties, based on building scheduling needs.
WHAT WE NEED
Whitmore Lake Public Schools is seeking an organized, detail-oriented staff member to serve as the Middle & High School Assessment Coordinator. This supplemental position will coordinate district and state assessment processes or grades 6-12 and work closely with building administrators, instructional staff and technology personnel to ensure testing is organized, compliant and completed successfully.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Middle & High School Assessment Coordinator will: Lead the planning, scheduling and coordination of district and state standardized assessments, including M-STEP, PSAT/SAT, NWEA and other required assessments. Develop and communicate district testing calendars, deadlines, procedures and staff responsibilities. Collaborate with the Technology Director to ensure devices, software and testing environments are prepared for assessment administration. Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to staff involved in testing. Serve as a building resource for assessment procedures, testing requirements and troubleshooting. Monitor compliance with state and district testing protocols, including required documentation and reporting. Coordinate testing materials, student rosters, accommodations and make-up testing as needed. Review assessment results and support building leaders in accessing, understanding and using data to inform instruction. Maintain accurate assessment records and complete required state and district reporting. Stay current on changes to state assessment requirements, timelines and procedures. Perform other assessment-related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED
Strong organization, communication and project-management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Comfort working with student data, spreadsheets and online assessment platforms. Ability to collaborate effectively with administrators, teachers, support staff and technology personnel. Ability to learn and interpret assessment requirements and communicate them clearly to others. Experience with state or district assessment administration preferred.
