This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, hands-on leader with at least three years of progressively responsible management experience in warehouse, distribution, transportation, or a related industrial environment. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for workforce leadership, customer service, safety, productivity, financial administration, and the overall performance of an unloading services operation. Key Responsibilities Manage daily site operations with safety, service, productivity, and efficiency as primary priorities. Direct, motivate, and hold warehouse associates accountable for attendance, performance, productivity, and compliance. Communicate daily with associates regarding service expectations, compensation, accountability, and performance. Schedule associate shifts according to customer volumes and operational requirements. Interview, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop new and existing associates. Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure active associate participation. Enforce all company policies, standard operating procedures, work rules, and safety requirements. Monitor daily service levels and ensure customer expectations are consistently met. Document, investigate, and resolve customer service and employee-related issues promptly. Create daily operational work logs and submit required information to corporate leadership. Review and audit daily labor, billing, productivity, and payroll reports. Supervise accurate and timely data entry for all services performed. Complete daily financial and administrative closeout activities, including cash balancing, data uploads, and payroll record administration. Assist with the management of site and departmental budgets. Review operating results and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service, safety, and financial performance. Required Qualifications At least three years of management and leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, or other industrial setting. Demonstrated experience supervising warehouse employees, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and termination. Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and hold associates accountable. Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced and continually changing warehouse environment. Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to make decisions, solve problems, assign priorities, and direct a workforce. Experience managing budgets, reviewing profit-and-loss statements, and preparing operational or management reports. Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong numerical aptitude, including the ability to estimate rates and perform basic calculations while managing multiple tasks. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Proven ability to provide a high level of service to internal and external customers. Flexibility to work varying start times, schedules, weekends, and holidays based on business requirements. Preferred Education and Experience Experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain operations, distribution, or third-party logistics is preferred. A bachelor's or associate degree is a plus; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
