Job Description:
A leading supply chain and logistics services provider is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at a customer distribution facility in the Twin Cities area. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, hands-on leader with at least three years of progressively responsible management experience in warehousing, distribution, transportation, or third-party logistics. The Site Manager will lead the warehouse team while ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily site operations with safety, service, and efficiency as top priorities. Communicate regularly with associates regarding service expectations, accountability, compensation, attendance, and performance. Create and submit daily operational work logs. Review and audit labor, productivity, payroll, and billing reports. Ensure customer requirements and service expectations are consistently met. Document and resolve customer service and employee-related concerns. Ensure associates follow all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and work rules. Conduct weekly safety meetings and encourage active associate participation. Assist with managing site and departmental budgets. Develop staffing plans and associate schedules based on customer volume and operational requirements. Interview, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop warehouse associates. Oversee the timely and accurate entry of operational and service data. Complete daily closeout procedures, including cash balancing, data uploads, and payroll record administration. Monitor employee performance and address performance or attendance issues appropriately. Build a positive, accountable, and productive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
At least three years of management or leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, or similar industrial environment. Demonstrated ability to train, coach, mentor, and hold warehouse associates accountable. Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Sound judgment and strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience directing a workforce in a changing, deadline-driven warehouse operation. Ability to manage budgets, review profit-and-loss statements, and prepare operational reports. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong numerical aptitude and the ability to perform basic calculations while managing multiple tasks. Flexibility to support changing operational demands, including occasional weekends or holidays when necessary.
Education and Experience:
Experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain operations, or third-party logistics is strongly preferred. Bachelor's or associate degree is a plus but is not required when combined with relevant experience. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Proven experience supervising warehouse employees, including hiring, training, performance management, and corrective action. Demonstrated success providing high-quality service to internal and external customers.

$65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
