This energetic role combines the essential duties of delivering products efficiently and providing outstanding customer service, along with supporting warehouse operations. As a Delivery Driver and Clerk, you will be the face of our company on the road, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help us build strong customer relationships and streamline our logistics processes. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your driving skills and gain valuable experience in warehouse and delivery operations. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks, personal vehicles, and commercial trucks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load, unload, and secure goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Deliver products directly to customers' locations, adhering to scheduled routes and ensuring timely arrivals Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally during delivery interactions Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, moving stock, and maintaining organized storage areas Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update logs, and communicate with team members effectively Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling of heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations with familiarity in manual handling and material handling equipment operation Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks preferred Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Physical ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Comfortable working with mobile devices for communication and documentation purposes Prior experience with warehouse experience, moving supplies, or courier services is advantageous Join us to be part of a fast-paced environment where your driving skills and attention to safety make a real difference!
