Warehouse Manager Charlotte Staffing | Cramerton, NC | On-Site A strongly performing distribution company in the Cramerton, NC area is conducting a search for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee and participate in the daily operations of a pick-and-pack distribution center. This is an active leadership position for someone who is comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor, leading employees, solving operational issues, and continuously improving productivity, accuracy, safety, and workflow. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring that orders move efficiently and accurately through receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution center operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping. Provide hands-on leadership and maintain a consistent presence on the warehouse floor. Lead, train, coach, schedule, and hold warehouse employees accountable for performance and operational standards. Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped securely, accurately, and on time. Monitor daily workload and appropriately allocate labor and resources based on order volume and operational priorities. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory controls, location management, and investigation of discrepancies. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficient product flow. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable workplace safety requirements. Coordinate with purchasing, customer service, sales, management, and other departments to resolve inventory and fulfillment issues. Assist with onboarding, performance management, and development of warehouse employees. Evaluate warehouse processes, equipment, layout, and technology and recommend improvements. Support warehouse operations directly when business volume or staffing requires additional assistance. Qualifications 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or logistics experience preferred. Previous supervisory or warehouse management experience strongly preferred. Experience in a pick-and-pack distribution or fulfillment environment preferred. Strong understanding of inventory control, order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, and warehouse workflow. Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, inventory software, or similar technology. Strong leadership and employee-management skills. Ability to analyze warehouse performance with ability to improve operations. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment. Ability to work additional hours or overtime when business needs require. Benefits & Work Environment Salary range: $75,000
