Owns the warehouse function; no direct reports Position Overview Our client is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to serve as the operational link between the warehouse, field electricians, suppliers, and company fleet. This role is ideal for someone who understands commercial electrical materials, takes pride in keeping the field supplied, and enjoys solving practical problems quickly and accurately. The successful candidate will take ownership of inventory, material staging, purchasing support, pricing updates, jobsite deliveries, returns, and day-to-day warehouse organization. This is not a desk-only management role: the position requires initiative, follow-through, strong relationships, and a willingness to step in wherever needed to keep work moving.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Electricians have the materials they need, inventory and pricing stay accurate, suppliers are treated as valued partners, and last-minute requests are handled with a steady, solutions-focused approach. Key Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and prepare material orders for commercial electrical crews before they leave for jobsites.
• Receive, organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory, including conduit, wire, fittings, breakers, panels, and related electrical materials.
• Enter material tickets and basic inventory/pricing transactions in QuickBooks; maintain current pricing for time-and-material work.
• Process returned job materials: sort, count, determine restock ability, and apply appropriate inventory credits.
• Coordinate with electrical supply houses to source materials, compare availability, and maintain strong, balanced supplier relationships.
• Track down difficult-to-source parts using supplier contacts, online research, and persistence until an appropriate solution is found.
• Deliver materials and orders to active jobsites as needed and respond effectively to time-sensitive field requests.
• Support company fleet administration, including maintenance reminders, mileage monitoring, and basic coordination of vehicle needs.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Communicate closely with electricians and office staff to anticipate material needs, resolve discrepancies, and keep projects moving.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Commercial electrical experience in the field, an electrical warehouse, or a closely related environment. Working knowledge of commercial electrical materials and terminology. Strong organization, accuracy, follow-through, and practical problem-solving skills. Professional, service-oriented communication style and the ability to build trust with field employees and suppliers. Comfort with basic computer tasks, email, spreadsheets, and online parts research. Ability to work hands-on in a warehouse and make local jobsite/material deliveries.

PREFERRED / TRAINABLE

Prior electrical warehouse, inventory, purchasing, or counter/supply-house experience. QuickBooks experience; basic entries can be taught to a strong candidate. Experience supporting fleet maintenance or vehicle records. Commercial electrician or electrical field background with interest in moving into an operations role. Professional Profile
