Full Job Description Job PurposeSummary:
As Warehouse Manager, you'll protect the flow of product and service that keeps customers supplied-by running warehouse operations with discipline, accuracy, and compliance. This role exists to improve profitability and customer satisfaction through safe, secure, efficient, cost-effective execution. Must be a team player, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Overseeing warehouse operations to exceed expectations for productivity, daily workflow and accuracy Ensure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner and maintain required records in conformance with company policy Supervising and scheduling warehouse and delivery staff Supervising and scheduling maintenance for company delivery vehicles to meet company policy and OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations Have a working knowledge of plumbing/heating products and industry Be skilled in computer use (ability to master Eclipse software) Be an excellent communicator Handle all duties honestly, follow high ethical standards and present a professional image at all times Necessary qualifications/skills: Experience overseeing warehouse operations and coordinating teams Ability to supervise and schedule warehouse and delivery staff Ability to supervise and schedule maintenance of company delivery vehicles Plumbing and Heating experience a plus Communication, time management and organizational skills Education/Experience Minimum of 3 years' driving experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Working knowledge of Eclipse software preferred
