Full-Time Position Overview Carolina Furniture Installations (CFI) is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and product receiving. This is a player/coach position . The Warehouse Manager will lead a small warehouse team while also working alongside them every day. The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring furniture and related products arriving for upcoming installation projects are received safely, accurately documented, properly tagged, and organized in the warehouse. Our warehouse frequently receives truckloads containing furniture for multiple customers and upcoming projects at the same time . Strong organization and attention to detail are critical to making sure the right product gets to the right job. Key Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a small warehouse team in day-to-day operations. Safely unload furniture, office systems, and related products from incoming trucks. Verify incoming products against bills of lading, packing lists, receiving paperwork, and other documentation. Identify and document shortages, overages, or damaged products. Properly tag and label received inventory according to the appropriate customer and installation project. Organize and stage inventory within the warehouse by upcoming job. Maintain accurate separation of products when a shipment contains inventory for multiple projects. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Coordinate warehouse space to accommodate incoming shipments and upcoming installations. Prepare and stage products for installation crews prior to scheduled jobs. Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse. Help establish and maintain efficient receiving, storage, and inventory procedures. Communicate receiving issues or discrepancies to the appropriate office or project team. Ensure the warehouse team follows company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices. Perform physical warehouse work alongside the team as needed. Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience required. Furniture or product receiving experience strongly preferred. Previous experience leading or supervising a small team preferred. Forklift certification required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to accurately read and reconcile receiving paperwork. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where products for multiple jobs must remain accurately separated and organized. Dependable, punctual, and able to take ownership of warehouse operations. Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, installers, office staff, and management. Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs. Willingness to perform hands-on warehouse work every day. What Success Looks Like A successful Warehouse Manager at CFI keeps the warehouse safe, organized, accurate, and ready for the next job . Incoming products are received correctly, discrepancies are caught early, inventory is clearly identified and stored with the correct project, and installation crews can quickly locate everything they need when it is time to load for a job. This is not a desk-based management position. We are looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front , takes pride in an organized warehouse, and is willing to work alongside their team to get the job done.
