Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to lead operations within our new Youngsville, NC-based 550,000 sq. ft. facility, overseeing a team of approximately 125 employees. Relocation assistance is available to the Raleigh-Durham area from within the US. Minimal travel is expected (~10%). The expected annual salary range for this role is $146000 - $215000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do: This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across receiving, inventory, and shipping while ensuring safety, quality, and service targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all daily distribution center operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping
- Manage, coach, and develop a workforce including supervisors and frontline teams
- Drive performance against key metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost
- Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through effective controls and cycle counting programs
- Optimize labor planning, staffing, and workflow to meet demand and improve efficiency
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, transportation, and customer service teams
- Manage operating budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities ##
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing plant operations
- Minimum 5 years of direct people leadership experience
