Senior Warehouse Manager -

Wholesale Distribution Warehouse Location:

Harrison, NJ Full-Time We are an established wholesale company seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our warehouse. This is a hands-on management position . We are looking for someone who knows how to run a busy warehouse, organize people and inventory, solve problems quickly, and make sure orders leave accurately and on time. The right person will bring structure and discipline to this environment without slowing it down. Responsibilities Manage the daily warehouse operation, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging and shipping Supervise and direct warehouse employees and assign daily work Take responsibility for order accuracy and make sure shortages and picking errors are caught before shipment Maintain organization and proper pallet locations throughout the warehouse Improve procedures for picking, counting, packing and inventory control Make sure employees follow established warehouse procedures Prioritize multiple customer orders and deadlines at the same time Coordinate incoming and outgoing trucks Investigate inventory discrepancies and operational problems Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse Train employees and hold the team accountable for productivity and accuracy Work closely with ownership and office staff to continuously improve warehouse operations What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with significant warehouse management experience , preferably in wholesale, distribution, or another environment with a large number of SKUs and constantly changing inventory. You should be comfortable managing both people and merchandise . You should be willing to walk the warehouse, check orders yourself, solve problems on the floor and step in wherever necessary.

Highly organized and focused Strong with inventory and warehouse systems Excellent at managing warehouse employees Very focused on accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-moving, imperfect environment Able to establish procedures and make sure they are followed Good at troubleshooting and finding practical solutions Comfortable with computers and basic warehouse technology Experienced with forklifts, pallet racking and warehouse safety Dependable and willing to take ownership of the entire warehouse operation This Position Is NOT This is not a position for someone who wants to manage from an office. We need a manager who is visible on the warehouse floor , knows what is happening, knows where the problems are and takes responsibility for getting them fixed.
