Job Description

Our client, a family-owned and operated distributor, is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Warehouse Manager for their location in Linden, NJ. Responsibilities for this position include overseeing voice-pick, RF, and incentive pay programs and driving nightly performance contests . 5+ years of night-shift warehouse leadership experience in food/grocery distribution is required for this position.

The Day-to-Day:

Directly supervise 4-6 supervisors/leads and hold them accountable for their teams Walk the floor constantly•coach selectors in real time, fix shorts immediately, and keep production moving Ensure 100% truck departure on time•no late trailers Oversee voice-pick, RF, and incentive pay programs; drive nightly performance contests

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with strong experience 5+ years night-shift warehouse leadership experience in food/grocery distribution (perishables required) Proven success running high-volume selecting and loading operations (200,000+ cases per night) Strong working knowledge of voice-pick systems, incentive pay, and modern WMS Strong knowledge of

FDA/USDA

regulations, HACCP, and cold-chain management Ability to be on the floor 90% of the shift•this is not a desk job

Pay Rate:

$85k to $100k /per yr

Schedule:

Sunday to Thursday 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM (with overtime)

Pay:

$85,000.00•$100,000.00 per year
