Compensation:

Position Summary The Fulfillment & Outbound Manager owns end-to-end order fulfillment and outbound logistics at PowerPak's Congers, NY distribution center. Leading a team of three direct reports and their hourly associates, this role ensures every order is picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time, coordinating company fleet drivers and third-party carriers to meet delivery commitments. We're looking for a hands-on leader who takes ownership, solves problems quickly, and drives the daily execution that protects a reliable customer experience. Team & Scope This role leads the fulfillment and outbound organization at Congers with three direct reports: Fulfillment Supervisor (picking, packing, order accuracy) Outbound / Shipping Supervisor (staging, loading, carrier handoff) Dispatch & Transportation Lead (routing, fleet drivers, third-party carriers) Key Responsibilities Lead fulfillment operations: picking, packing, and order accuracy across shifts.
Manage outbound logistics:
routing, dispatch, fleet drivers, and third-party carriers to meet delivery commitments cost-effectively. Supervise, coach, and develop three direct reports and the hourly team beneath them, including scheduling, performance management, and succession. Own DIFOT and order-accuracy performance. Monitor, report, and drive corrective action. Solve operational problems quickly and make sound day-to-day decisions. Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant fulfillment and outbound floor. Partner with receiving, inventory, purchasing, sales, and customer service to keep orders flowing. Drive continuous improvement of workflows, layout, and labor planning as volume scales. Success Metrics DIFOT = 98%. Orders delivered complete and on schedule. Order and picking accuracy = 99.5%. Mis-picks and mis-ships trending down. Qualifications Required 5+ years in warehouse or distribution operations, including fulfillment and outbound/shipping. 2+ years leading teams, including supervisors or leads. Proven record of hitting DIFOT and order-accuracy targets. Experience coordinating fleet drivers and third-party carriers. Proficiency with WMS/ERP systems and the ability to learn new tools quickly. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Experience in construction, industrial, civil, or safety products distribution. Familiarity with NetSuite, SNAP WMS, Descartes, and Samsara. Continuous improvement or Lean background. Bilingual (English / Spanish). Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment This is a warehouse environment. The essential functions of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, operating material-handling equipment, and working in varying warehouse temperatures.
