Job Description
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, put‑away, staging, and shipping. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout. Ensure all materials are stored safely and securely; supervise loading/unloading of trucks. Inventory & Materials Management Maintain accurate inventory levels. Track job‑holding materials, returns, RTVs, and discrepancies. Ensure technicians have required plumbing/HVAC materials for daily operations. Logistics & Jobsite Support Coordinate deliveries to/from job sites, suppliers, and customers. Expedite urgent jobs and same‑day deliveries using runners or third‑party services. Monitor purchase orders, transfers, and receiving activity. Team Leadership Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff. Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Resolve conflicts that surface Lead by example Safety & Compliance Conduct safety inspections of warehouse, fleet, and equipment. Enforce OSHA standards and complete required reporting. Identify and mitigate safety hazards. Process Improvement Improve workflows, space utilization, and warehouse layout. Implement SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze procedures to identify trends and operational opportunities.
