Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee our electrical distribution operations. In this pivotal role, you will manage inventory, coordinate logistics, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of electrical products. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize supply chain workflows, and uphold the highest standards of warehouse management. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving of electrical components and equipment Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance on safety protocols, process management, and performance expectations Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, locations, and movements accurately Coordinate transportation planning and logistics to ensure timely delivery and distribution of products Manage procurement processes for electrical supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels through demand planning and inventory control Drive process improvement initiatives utilizing lean principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows Collaborate with supply chain teams on production planning, freight management, and distribution operations to meet organizational goals Monitor budget adherence related to warehouse activities while identifying opportunities for cost savings through continuous improvement strategies Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members Utilize ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools to analyze operational data for decision-making and performance optimization Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a logistics or distribution environment Strong understanding of supply chain management principles including inventory management, procurement, transportation management systems (TMS), and distribution operations Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as SAP or Oracle Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies like lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives Experience managing freight logistics including NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), 3PL (Third-Party Logistics), and fleet management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of transportation planning, demand forecasting, inventory control, and materials management is highly desirable Join us as an Electrical Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision!
