A Delivery Manager is responsible for delivery scheduling, delivery of products, tracking deliveries, and following up with clients. May involve managing associated logistics and delivery staff members.
We are seeking a seasoned Delivery Manager to lead a Poland-based engineering team delivering complex data integration and publication solutions in close collaboration with US-based architectural leadership.
Location:
Warsaw or Krakow, Poland (Hybrid) Essential functions
Own project roadmaps, milestones, scope changes, budget tracking, and proactive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management.
Data-Focused Coordination:
Manage technical dependencies, system integrations, data quality considerations, and operational risks alongside engineering and data teams.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
Act as the bridge between the local delivery team, business stakeholders, operations, and the Lead Architect based in Atlanta.
Release & Quality Management:
Coordinate UAT planning, production readiness, cutover execution, and post-release support.
Metrics & Reporting:
Drive continuous improvement using velocity, cycle time, defect rates, and predictability metrics; deliver executive status reports and manage risk escalations.
Qualifications Experience:
Proven track record as a Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master leading technical delivery teams.
Domain Expertise:
Commercial experience working with data integration, data publication, or backend/ETL systems , must understand data quality, system integrations, technical dependencies, and operational risks (not solely frontend/UI or business-only projects).
Agile & Delivery Mastery:
Hands-on execution of Scrum/Agile frameworks, sprint planning, backlog refinement, User Story mapping, Acceptance Criteria, and Definition of Done (DoD).
Tooling:
Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence for roadmapping, dependency tracking, and workflow management.
Fluent Polish (C1+) and fluent English (C1+); ability to work in a hybrid model in Warsaw or Krakow .
Cross-Cultural & Time-Zone Alignment:
Proven ability to bridge local Polish delivery teams with international stakeholders and architects across different time zones (e.g., US East Coast). Would be a plus
Certifications:
Professional Scrum Master (PSM/CSM), PMP, or SAFe credentials.
Technical Release Management:
Hands-on experience coordinating UAT planning, cutover execution, production readiness, and post-release support in data-heavy environments.
Metrics-Driven Delivery:
Practical application of metrics (velocity, cycle time, defect rates, release predictability) to optimize team performance.
