This position leads the warehouse team and ensures parts are received, stocked, picked, packaged, shipped, and delivered accurately and efficiently. The Parts Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Parts Department, Service Department, Sales Department, and customers by ensuring the right parts are available and moving through the operation quickly and accurately. This position requires a hands-on leader who takes ownership, holds the team accountable, identifies opportunities for improvement, and understands that everything we do ultimately impacts the customer experience. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Oversee the day-to-day operation of the parts warehouse and shipping department. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional warehouse environment. Ensure parts are properly received, inspected, labeled, stocked, and located. Oversee accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer and internal orders. Ensure orders are processed efficiently and shipped within expected timelines. Coordinate daily shipping activity and prioritize urgent or time-sensitive orders. Ensure proper handling of cores, returns, warranty parts, and damaged shipments. Maintain accurate inventory locations and warehouse records. Inventory Management Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Identify inventory discrepancies and work with the Parts Manager to resolve them. Monitor inventory organization and identify obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving parts. Ensure proper rotation and storage of inventory. Develop and maintain efficient warehouse layouts and stocking locations. Help minimize inventory loss, damage, and unnecessary handling. Team Leadership Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse employees. Establish clear expectations for productivity, accuracy, safety, and professionalism. Hold employees accountable for performance and adherence to company procedures. Assign daily responsibilities and manage workflow based on business needs. Promote teamwork and effective communication between the warehouse, front counter, back counter, service, and shipping operations. Lead by example with a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Customer Experience Understand that warehouse performance directly impacts the customer's experience. Ensure customer orders are accurate, complete, properly packaged, and shipped on time. Quickly address errors or delays and communicate issues to the appropriate team members. Support the Parts Department in providing dependable service to customers. Maintain a professional appearance and environment that reflects the standards of Crows Truck Center. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Help develop and implement standard operating procedures. Measure and improve warehouse performance. Look for ways to reduce unnecessary movement, handling, errors, and delays. Encourage employees to bring forward ideas and solutions. Support the company's commitment to Continuous Improvement (CI) . Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, vendors, and customers. Basic computer skills and ability to learn company-specific parts and inventory systems. Ability to safely lift and move heavy parts and packages as required.
