WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR
R&S LOGISTICS
(KNOXVILLE, TN) Full-Time | Day Shift, Monday-Friday | Starting at $18.50/hour, based on experience R&S Logistics is a single-source 3PL handling warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, and biomass services out of our Knoxville, TN headquarters. We're looking for a Warehouse Administrator to be the go-to point of contact for our customers — someone who's detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable moving between a computer screen and the warehouse floor. This role blends office-based customer service with hands-on warehouse work. You'll process orders in our Warehouse Management System (WMS), coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and keep customers informed about their inventory — all while helping load, unload, and store product on the floor when needed. What You'll Do
  • Serve as the first point of contact for assigned customer accounts
  • Send BOLs, packing lists, and other shipping paperwork on time
  • Send standard reports on each customer's required schedule, and prepare custom reports on request
  • Respond to customer inquiries accurately and promptly
  • Use our WMS to track inventory movement, keep accurate records, and proactively update customers on inventory status
  • Receive, process, prioritize, and schedule customer orders
  • Flag notable customer requirements to your Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
  • Load, unload, verify count and condition of, and safely store customer inventory
  • Complete ongoing training programs
  • Pitch in on general warehouse duties and light maintenance as needed
  • Follow all safety requirements and accurately record time worked What We're Looking For
  • Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills; strong data entry/keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
  • WMS experience preferred Physical Requirements With or without accommodation, this role requires:
  • Frequent computer, printer, and office equipment use
  • Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
  • Working in a warehouse that may be hot or cold depending on season
  • Lifting/moving up to 30 lbs
  • Bending, squatting, and reaching Schedule Primarily Monday-Friday, day shift (8-hour shifts). Some overtime, and occasional evening or weekend work, may be required based on business needs. This is an on-location position; occasional travel may be required. Benefits
