Senior Distribution Center Manager This role will report to the VP of Operations Responsibilities include: Manage the Operations, Logistics, and Program Management activities associated with the assigned Distribution Center to ensure on-time and accurate receiving, storage, and delivery of products. This person will work very closely with the Service Center Managers and Program/Operations personnel at each location to ensure product transfers are timely, complete and accurate. Work with the Regional management team to ensure alignment with regional and corporate objectives. Provide leadership to the Warehouse Managers and operations staff to implement best practices, improve efficiencies, and facilitate operational continuous improvement projects. Support program optimization activities for Vendor Managed Inventory programs across the region. Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure that optimal inventory levels are maintained for program customers and that slow moving and obsolete material is addressed appropriately. Support and/or manage significant operations projects such as customer launches, program implementations, and expansion or reduction of operating facilities to support regional branch activity. Responsible for the facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Support ERP system and process changes as DC and Operations SME. Other duties as required. Job Requirements:
Minimum of five years of Distribution/Warehousing management experience. Minimum of five years of experience with VMI, Kan-Ban, or other inventory systems requiring a triggered replenishment from a warehouse infrastructure. A working knowledge of inventory management (APICS certification a plus) Experience with KPI's and operational financials. Experience working within an ISO, TS, or equivalent Quality Management System. Experience with assembly and kitting processes. Knowledge of ERP systems and processes. Experience with facility management. Experience with fasteners and fastener quality standards strongly preferred. Bilingual - English/Spanish requiredBase Salary Target:
