Warehouse Manager Description/Job Summary Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehousing operations, ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management, and maintain the physical condition of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in real-time data collection, computerized administration, and logistics management. This role requires a strong leader capable of enforcing company rules and regulations, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Accuracy and Cost Management:
Utilize real-time data collection to increase accuracy and reduce labor costs.Military Equipment Accountability:
Obtain and maintain a Common Access Card for military equipment accountability and the replacement of all food service equipment.Computerized Administration:
Maintain computerized administration, stock inventory, and retrieval systems.Regulation Enforcement:
Enforce company rules and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.Logistics Oversight:
Oversee the logistics of receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations.Strategic Meetings:
Meet regularly with managers and leads to assess, analyze, and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity improvement.Equipment Maintenance:
Perform general maintenance of the equipment used in the main office.Supplier Relations:
Negotiate and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers.Timely Deliveries:
Ensure the timely delivery of materials and products to meet operational needs.Warehouse Design:
Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.Financial Management:
Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.Security Procedures:
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.Inventory Control:
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:
Upkeep company vehicles and maintenance of all equipment from the project and main office.Driving Responsibilities:
Maintain a valid driver's license to drive company vehicles for deliveries, pick-ups, and shopping lists.Qualifications and Skills:
Work Prioritization:
Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work.Computer Proficiency:
Proficient with computers and general software applications.Communication Skills:
Effective oral and written communication skills.Leadership and Management:
Strong leadership and management skills.Safety Knowledge:
Understanding of safety rules and regulations.Software Knowledge:
