This role drives operational excellence across all warehouse functions, leveraging data analytics, process optimization, and team development to achieve safety, service, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and financial objectives. The General Manager, Warehouse builds a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement while serving as the key operational partner to customers, corporate leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders. Foster a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Analyze operational data/KPIs, including workflow trends, throughput, cycle time, labor utilization, and quality results to identify root causes, prioritize improvements, and measure the impact of implemented changes. Develop and implement scalable operational processes, reporting tools, and capacity plans to support business growth and service requirements. Lead the recruitment, training, development, and retention of warehouse personnel while promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure the security of warehouse facilities, inventory, equipment, and personnel through established controls and protocols. Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, physical inventories, variance analysis, and corrective action plans. Oversee facility maintenance, warehouse layout optimization, and equipment management to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Plan and allocate labor and resources using volume forecasts, productivity standards, and workforce planning models to meet operational requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally to align teams, improve execution, and support customer and business objectives. Accountable for site financial performance, operating budget management, capital planning, productivity performance, and achievement of annual profitability objectives. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Senior/Multi-Level Management:
This position provides leadership for multiple teams or a department and may have responsibility for workforce planning, performance management, and contributing to strategic initiatives .
Education/ Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, including at least 5 years in a senior management role leading large teams of 30-50+ employees with responsibility for safety, inventory, labor management, customer service, and financial performance. Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Certifications, OSHA Safety Certifications are a plus.
Skills and Ability :
Advanced analytical skills, including KPI development, dashboard interpretation, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, labor planning, and operational performance reporting. Proficiency using warehouse management systems, inventory systems, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and business intelligence outputs to monitor performance and guide decisions. Strong hands-on knowledge of Lean/5S methodologies Foster a performance-driven culture that engages teams, encourages collaboration, reinforces accountability, and connects daily work to shared operational goals. Ability to translate and summarize complex operational data into clear insights, priorities, and action plans for warehouse teams and senior leadership. Strong attention to detail. Entrepreneurial mindset.
Work Conditions/ Physical Demands :
This position is performed in a warehouse environment and requires regular physical activity. Essential functions include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials weighing up to 40 pounds. The role may involve repetitive motions, operation of warehouse equipment, and exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or business needs (up to 10%).
