We are a leading dealer of Pivot irrigation and Subsurface Drip Irrigation (SDI) systems, operating in a high-energy, fast-paced, high-volume environment. You'll be responsible for Counter Sales, 8,000 sq/ft warehouse and parts room , 1.25 acre on site layout yard , 12 acre offsite pipe yard, used for staging PVC pipe, pivot irrigation pipe, and related equipment. This role is not solely a desk job role. Why Work With Us Be a key player in a growing, respected irrigation dealer Take true ownership of your space, this role is what you make it Fast-paced environment where no two days look the same Work alongside a team that values hustle and pride in their work Job Description Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the parts counter, overall organization, cleanliness, safety, and inventory accuracy of South Plains Valley Irrigation's warehouse, parts room, and outdoor layout yard. This role ensures that components critical to our pivot irrigation and subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) operations are properly stocked, tracked, and readily accessible to support sales, service, and installation crews. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes full ownership of the space and operates with urgency in a high-volume, fast-paced dealer environment. Key Responsibilities Counter Sales Customer service - working with customers in person and over the phone for day to day parts needs. Invoicing, Sales orders, Purchase orders, Expense tracking through Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise to assist project managers on Job tracking. B2B sales with distribution and other dealers to keep SPV stocked with other brand parts and maintaining good two way relationships with other dealers and parts distribution centers. Inventory Management Maintain accurate, real-time inventory levels for pivot irrigation and subsurface drip irrigation components, parts, and equipment Order special order, Normal stock and job specific parts as needed Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic full physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies Monitor stock levels and proactively flag reorder needs to prevent shortages that could delay installs or repairs Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments for accuracy and damage; process returns and warranty items as needed Maintain organized records within inventory Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise Warehouse & Parts Room Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe 8,000 sq/ft warehouse and parts room at all times Design and maintain logical storage/bin systems so parts are easy to locate and pull quickly Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and storage practices for all components Pull and stage parts for technicians, installers, and will-call customers efficiently and accurately Yard Management Oversee the organization and layout of the 1.25 acre yard used for staging PVC pipe, pivot pipe, and irrigation equipment Oversee the organization and layout of the 12 acre pipe yard used for storing pivot irrigation pipe and equipment Ensure pipe and equipment are stored in a manner that protects product integrity, maximizes space, and allows for efficient loading/unloading Coordinate yard traffic flow for deliveries, will-call pickups, and outbound shipments to job sites Maintain yard cleanliness and general upkeep, including seasonal/weather-related adjustments Team & Operational Leadership Take ownership of the warehouse and yard as if it were your own operation, proactively identifying and solving problems before they impact the business Coordinate with sales, service, and installation teams to ensure parts availability aligns with project and repair schedules Enforce safety protocols for equipment handling, forklift/loader operation, and general warehouse/yard safety Support a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and adaptability Qualifications Required Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or a related logistics role Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to shifting priorities Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Ability to lift/move materials (up to 150lbs) and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable operating warehouse equipment (forklift, telehandler, pallet jack, 40' trailers) Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency for inventory tracking and data entry Experience with Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise Preferred Experience in the irrigation, agriculture, construction, or industrial parts/distribution industry Familiarity with pivot irrigation and/or subsurface drip irrigation components Prior supervisory or team lead experience Work Environment This position involves a mix of indoor warehouse/parts room work and outdoor yard work, including exposure to Texas weather conditions (heat, wind, cold). The role requires regular physical activity, including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods, as well as operating material-handling equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 80lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions Ability to safely operate warehouse/yard equipment
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
