Job Description

This position will work onsite at the Mercedes, TX warehouse office. This position plays a critical role in supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection s (CBP) Integrated Surveillance Tower (IST) sustainment mission. This position ensures reliable and efficient warehouse operations that directly support high System Operational Availability (Ao) across deployed surveillance systems. The Warehouse Manager oversees receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory accuracy of Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE), spare parts, and repair materials used to maintain CBP s IST systems and forward-based warehousing sites. This role partners closely with engineering, logistics, and field maintenance personnel to enable a robust maintenance and repair program. A sample of duties performed by this position: Manage day-to-day operations of project warehouses, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling of CBP materials and equipment. Receive, inspect, document, and store inbound shipments, including GFE and contractor-procured items. Ensure proper storage, labeling, environmental conditions, and security of all warehouse materials. Fulfill material requests from field technicians, maintenance teams, and forward operating locations; coordinate timely shipments. Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records using approved inventory management systems (Maximo/ILSS). Conduct routine and scheduled inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation reporting. Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and professional development for warehouse personnel. Participate in hiring, workforce planning, succession development, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies. Establish, monitor, and report warehouse performance metrics including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment timelines, material availability, asset accountability, shipping performance, and workforce productivity. Develop and implement corrective actions when performance objectives are not achieved. Coordinate supply distribution and logistics with field sites supporting remote IST tower maintenance activities. Submits weekly and monthly logs to Program, Project, and Logistics Team for review. Supports the Senior Logistics Manager in specialty projects or tasks as assigned. Manages and oversees staff perform return merchandise authorization (RMA), return authorization (RA) and return goods authorization (RGA) process. Promote, execute, and adhere to the company s safety program. Provide asset/inventory reports to program staff, Sustainment Program Manager, and PMOas needed. Operate a company vehicle in accordance with local laws/regulations and company protocols at all times. Education Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Will consider an exchange of experience for degree requires 2 years of experience for each year of education. If experience is used, must be in addition to the required years of experience for the position. Experience Minimum 10 years (10) years of Inventory Management experience required. Licenses/ Certification/ Registration Must have, or be eligible for a U.S. Government Security Clearance (DoD Secret or DHS Suitability) Current driver s license.
