Warehouse Manager Boxes 4 U Plano, TX Job Details $70,000 - $85,000 a year 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Vendor relationship building NetSuite Warehouse management system Bachelor's degree Full Job Description About the Role Boxes 4 U is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You'll be responsible for the full operation: inventory accuracy, receiving and shipping, staffing, safety, and keeping the floor running efficiently. This is a role for someone who leads from the floor, not just from an office: you'll set the pace for the team, solve problems as they come up, and make sure product moves in and out accurately and on time. What You'll Do Run daily outbound operations, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on schedule. Manage inbound operations, including receiving, inspecting, and putting away incoming inventory and deliveries. Plan and set delivery routes for drivers, sequencing stops for efficiency and on-time delivery. Manage the company fleet — vehicle scheduling, maintenance and service tracking, fuel usage, and day-to-day readiness. Supervise, schedule, and support warehouse staff, including assemblers, inventory associates, drivers, and installers/contractors as needed. Own inventory accuracy — direct cycle counts and full physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies in NetSuite. Coordinate freight, carriers, and delivery schedules to keep outbound shipments on time. Prepare and deliver daily and weekly operations reports covering shipments, receiving, labor, fleet activity, and any issues that need attention. Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse. Track key operational metrics (order accuracy, on-time shipping, labor efficiency) and report on performance. Identify and lead process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Manage relationships with vendors, 3PL partners, and equipment/maintenance providers as needed. Step in hands-on wherever needed — this is an active, floor-based leadership role. What We're Looking For 5+ years of warehouse experience required. Hands-on experience with NetSuite and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) required. Prior inventory management experience required. Bachelor's degree required. Prior experience managing or supervising warehouse or distribution center operations. Experience managing inbound and outbound logistics, including driver routing and fleet/vehicle oversight. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable preparing regular operational reports (daily and weekly) and communicating results to leadership. Proven ability to lead, train, and hold a team accountable. Comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment, including standing, walking, and being on the floor for extended periods. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Clear communicator, able to work directly with staff, leadership, and outside vendors/partners. Benefits 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Parental leave Employee-ownership — earn dividends as part of an employee-owned company Pay range: $70,000-$85,000 Why Work With Us A real leadership role with ownership over how the warehouse runs day to day. Direct visibility into operations and the ability to shape process improvements. Employee-owned company with dividends, plus a full benefits package.
