Logistics Manager Details:

Direct Hire position $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 /annually First Shift (Monday through Friday) Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily transportation of asphalt, aggregates, equipment, and construction materials to multiple job sites. Manage fleet operations, including scheduling drivers, dispatching trucks, and optimizing delivery routes for maximum efficiency. Coordinate with project managers, plant personnel, and field supervisors to ensure timely material deliveries that support project schedules. Monitor inventory levels of asphalt, aggregates, fuel, and other materials to prevent shortages and production delays. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, driver qualifications, vehicle inspections, and transportation safety requirements. Analyze logistics performance metrics, transportation costs, and delivery efficiency to identify opportunities for process improvement. Supervise logistics personnel, dispatchers, and drivers by providing leadership, training, and performance management. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party transportation providers. Oversee fleet maintenance scheduling, equipment utilization, licensing, and regulatory compliance. Resolve transportation, scheduling, and delivery issues quickly to minimize downtime and maintain customer satisfaction. Prepare logistics reports, monitor operating costs, and recommend strategies to improve productivity and reduce expenses. Support company operations by coordinating resources across multiple construction projects while ensuring efficient communication between the asphalt plant, field crews, and management.

Logistics Manager Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, dispatch, or construction operations preferred. Previous experience coordinating drivers, trucks, equipment, and material deliveries across multiple locations or job sites. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation safety requirements, driver compliance, and vehicle inspection standards.
