Concord, CA Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier logistics, procurement, inventory control, purchasing, vendor relationships, and demand planning to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. The Supply Chain Manager provides leadership and guidance for the Purchasing/Materials function of the company. The Supply Chain Manager directs and coordinates the activities of the Purchasing/Materials group in formulating and administering processes/procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates Shipping and Material releases in the Concord, CA facility, to ensure production has adequate time to produce the goods and thereby enabling customer orders to be shipped on time. Manages buyers. Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with business goals. Oversee procurement activities to ensure cost-effective and high-quality sourcing of materials. Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess or obsolete stock. Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms. Manages all suppliers' performance. Forecast demand and coordinate production and purchasing accordingly. Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sales, finance, and other departments. Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain organization. Follow procedures as defined by Emocore's, Concord, CA facility's policy, procedures, and AS9100 Rev D requirements. Maintains confidentiality of all information processed. In conjunction with Director of Quality, prioritizes Receiving Inspection of incoming parts. Ensure parts flow to Production to meet delivery schedules Perform other related duties as assigned. Executes and manages Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment .
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Strong knowledge of ERP systems, SAP, Sightline, Sage, Epicor. Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, excel, power point, and share point. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. APICS or similar certification is a plus. Compensation:
The position offers a salary range of $125K - $155K, depending on the candidate's experience, skill set, and overall qualifications . •
