Inventory Control Supervisor Want to make an impact? The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and maintaining efficient inventory processes. This role supervises inventory staff and coordinates with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory accuracy and availability. Ways you will make a difference Supervise and lead inventory control team members for safe and efficient production supply, warehouse, outside storage, and all inbound and outbound shipments Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly inventory control plans, ensuring execution and follow-up Lead root-cause investigations for inventory variances; implement corrective actions and continuous improvements Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP, ensuring data integrity of location configurations, unit-of-measure settings, Bill-of-Materials, and transaction documentation Oversee regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of physical inventory Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Warehouse, Procurement, Production) to ensure inventory accuracy and availability Monitor and report key inventory metrics (e.g., shrinkage, stock turns, accuracy rate) Facilitate training and development for team members on inventory processes, policies, and safety standards Participate in physical inventories and provide leadership during inventory events Skills that will make you successful Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to guide, motivate, and develop front-line staff Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, driving for results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Experiences that will support your success Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or supply chain in a manufacturing environment Minimum 2 years of leadership experience required Experience with cycle count programs, physical inventory processes, and variance resolution Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP required Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma a plus Ferrara's success in industry-leading innovation has been driven by deep consumer insights, strong retailer co-creation and partnerships, and a dedication to diversity of thought, experience, and people.
