We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Mid/Sr. Refrigeration HVACR Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch service solutions.
Job Summary:
The Refrigeration & HVAC (HVACR) Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of the refrigeration equipment while maintaining a high standard of service. The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair(s) of the commercial refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerated display cases, ice machines, and HVACR systems Document all work performed including but not limited to services reports, work orders by internal software Respond to service calls in a timely manner Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating motors, and inspecting electrical components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Test and calibrate refrigeration systems using specialized tools and equipment to verify proper operation and compliance with safety and performance standards Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to plan and execute refrigeration installations, upgrades, and retrofits
Skills and Qualifications:
EPA Certification is a must 4 years previous (field) experience in similar role preferred Ability to work independently/ as a part of a team Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and company policies Valid driver's license Good written and verbal communication skills Keen attention to detail Documentation and reporting skills Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during shift Can lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Basic computer skills (electronic documentation) Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role operates in a hybrid/remote capacity with frequent travel throughout Northern California for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities. $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
