We're looking for an experienced Inventory & Parts Manager who can oversee inventory accuracy across multiple automotive repair locations while protecting profitability through exceptional reconciliation, organization, and problem-solving. This isn't a warehouse position—it's a critical role that directly impacts the success of four busy automotive repair shops by managing approximately $160,000

What You'll Be Responsible For As our Inventory & Parts Manager, you'll oversee inventory accuracy, vendor reconciliation, and inventory controls across four shop locations while ensuring every parts transaction is properly documented and accounted for.
Your responsibilities include:
Reconcile parts purchases and vendor invoices across multiple locations Track core, warranty, defective, and returned parts to ensure credits are received Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, missing credits, and parts issues Coordinate with service managers, advisors, technicians, and vendor representatives Update and maintain accurate repair order information in Tekmetric Process and document all returns within Tekmetric Manage inventory ordering for the Placentia location Maintain inventory records, pricing, vendor information, and stock levels Perform and oversee weekly inventory counts for all locations Organize inventory documentation and stock records Schedule waste oil and coolant pickups while maintaining OSHA documentation Maintain organized filing systems for invoices and inventory records Reconcile American Express accounts and investigate transaction discrepancies Prepare reconciliation reports and maintain financial documentation for month-end closing We're Looking For Someone Who Has exceptional attention to detail Is highly organized and process-oriented Enjoys solving problems and investigating discrepancies Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Communicates effectively with service managers, technicians, vendors, and leadership Is comfortable working with spreadsheets and inventory software Takes ownership of their work and follows tasks through to completion Wants to be part of a company that values precision and continuous improvement Preferred Qualifications Previous automotive parts, inventory, or purchasing experience preferred Experience with inventory reconciliation and vendor credits Experience using shop management software (Tekmetric preferred) Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills Experience with financial reconciliation or bookkeeping is a plus Excellent organizational and documentation skills Why This Role Matters Your work keeps four busy repair facilities operating efficiently by ensuring inventory accuracy, recovering vendor credits, maintaining financial integrity, and protecting company profitability.
