Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in San Jose, CA.Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, supplier management, supply planning, fulfillment optimization, and procurement initiatives within technology environment. This individual will partner closely with internal teams to ensure cost-effective procurement, supply continuity, operational efficiency, and successful customer delivery.Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain strategies
- Lead competitive sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, and vendor selection processes
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and supplier agreements
- Partner with stakeholders to support new product introductions, manufacturing, fulfillment, and operational initiatives
- Support demand planning and supply planning activities to ensure product availability and alignment with business requirements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and efficiencies across procurement and fulfillment
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of fulfillment processes across the end-to-end order lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve order fulfillment performance from order receipt through delivery, installation, go-live, and customer acceptance
- Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, cost, and service levels
- Analyze fulfillment and supply chain performance metrics to identify opportunities to improve lead times, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness
- Support products and solutions that may require customization, specialized engineering, or advanced cooling technologies, which can impact supply, delivery, and payment cycles
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and business teams to minimize risk and ensure contract compliance
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, global operations, fulfillment, or supplier management
- Strong experience with demand planning, supply planning, procurement processes, and supplier management
- Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing strategic supplier relationships
- Experience supporting end-to-end supply chain and fulfillment operations in manufacturing, technology, or product development environments
- Strong understanding of procurement, fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain operations
- Demonstrated success leading process improvement, operational efficiency, or fulfillment standardization initiatives
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience evaluating spend data, supplier performance, and operational metrics
- Proficiency with ERP, procurement, supply chain, or planning systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, APICS, or CPM are a plus
- Experience within technology, electronics, hardware, manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, or cloud infrastructure industries
- Experience with Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, including order management, fulfillment, delivery, invoicing, and customer acceptance
- Knowledge of global sourcing, supplier management, and fulfillment operations
- Understanding of complex delivery environments involving customized products, integrated solutions, or advanced cooling technologies The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
