Job Description

The Parts Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Parts Department is providing superior customer service and operating at a top level by increasing revenue, controlling costs, and building a loyal customer base. Salary $65,000 to $70,000 Plus Commissions - Based on

Qualifications and Experience Essential Duties:

Deliver Budgeted AI​ Bolster internal and external customer needs by recommending and providing the right parts and accessories in a timely and helpful manner​ Sustain constant communication between internal departments to drive sales and shop revenue. Keep store showroom properly stock and appealing to retail customers, offering new products and offer additional revenue sources. Must complete daily deposits and ensure bank runs are made, all information on deposits need to be scanned and reported daily for all departments. Inventory Management & Accuracy Maintain accurate inventory, ensure stocking levels are aligned with the store volume and customer demands. Utilize weekly stock orders to maximize discounts​ and work with other departments on the need for urgency of emergency orders. Complete monthly and quarterly cycle counts ​ Maintain a clean, neat and organized department for speed and efficiency of inventory and parts transactions Team Leadership & Development​ Promote a customer-first mindset within the department by ensuring prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service​ Communicate with customers' orders on a daily basis and resolve issues as they arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming parts department with well-stocked displays and a professional merchandising Develop and work customer call lists for parts specials to maintain customer contacts and revenue growth Superior Customer Service

•Enforce employees are in uniforms and are welcoming customers on the phone, in person or email with a consistent welcome and closing

•Encourage personnel to take necessary online training opportunities with suppliers to gain knowledge of product offerings Cross Train within the department and company to better understand workflow, issues and resolution.

Education and Experience:

A High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and or experience is required. Two to three years experience with parts and customer service or a combination of experience or education. Must have knowledge of computers, calculators and other office equipment needed to perform duties. Basic math skills. Read, understand, interpret and follow all rules, regulations and policies of the company. Must be able to effectively resolve problems and work courteously with the public and staff in all situations. Must be detail oriented. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
