Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping and Receiving Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of logistics, inventory, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily activities related to the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and optimizing warehouse workflows to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of logistics operations, including planning and coordinating shipments and deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. Oversee inventory management processes, maintaining precise records of stock levels, tracking incoming and outgoing items, and conducting regular audits. Supervise warehouse operations to ensure safety standards are upheld, workflows are efficient, and equipment is properly maintained. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline shipping schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a productive work environment. Develop and implement procedures for shipping and receiving that improve accuracy and efficiency. Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all warehouse activities. Utilize inventory management systems to track shipments, update records, and generate reports for management review. Requirements Proven experience in logistics management, warehouse operations, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and shipping procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Leadership skills with experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in using inventory management software or related technology tools. Good communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance within warehouse settings. From $45,000.00 per year
