THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE
The Supply Chain Capability Implementation Lead is responsible for identifying, aligning and integrating current and future operational processes within key distribution projects. This role leads to cross-functional initiatives, ensuring the needs of the Supply Chain network are represented and prioritized across the organization. Key responsibilities include coordinating the planning and execution of distribution-related projects and system upgrades. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain teams, Distribution Centers, and external vendors—particularly during construction and implementation phases—to ensure successful project delivery.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY
Lead continuous improvement across Supply Chain by identifying, developing, and integrating enhanced business processes that improve operational performance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. Manage the planning, execution, and deployment for distribution-related initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions from concept acceptance to through Hypercare. Lead the end-to-end automation lifecycle, aligning stakeholders, technology, and execution to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cost, capacity, quality, and operational performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Supply Chain, IT, Distribution Centers) and external vendors to drive project success across all aligned KPI's. Lead and contribute to cross-functional project teams, independently managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations to meet performance goals. Lead change management efforts by building training materials, communication, and adoption of new systems and processes. Track, analyze, and communicate project status, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization. Maintain detailed project documentation, workflows, and reports for leadership and stakeholders. Identify professional development opportunities to stay current on industry trends and best practices. Support special projects related to distribution strategy and operational enhancements as needed. Contribute to organizational initiatives and culture-building activities within the department. Provide cross-functional support for process integration and project coordination as necessary. Develop best practices, SOPs, and standard work documentation in alignment with project deliverables.
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS
Bachelor's degree required 5-7 years' supply chain experience required, experience with a large retailer preferred Broad working knowledge of warehouse systems (WES, WMS, ERP), processes, operations, and how they interact with each other End to end experience implementing automation and technology, robotics preferred. Demonstrated experience in developing business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and budget management. Strong project management, change management, analytical skills required Strong written and verbal communication skills required Ability to define areas of opportunity and create continuous improvement projects with minimal supervision Proficient MS Office & SharePoint skills required Typical office environment - 60% Typical DC work environment - 40% This role requires travel to Ulta Beauty Distribution Centers and Project sites (~40% travel). While onsite there may be extended periods of walking or standing. #

#LI-JB2 The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $105,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
