Logistics Manager COMPANY :

Specialty Grocery DC We are looking for a forward thinking, Results driven Logistics Manager for to join our team! The right candidate will have heavy experience working in a fast paced Distribution Center. Education and/or

Experience:

• 5+ years progressive responsibility managing logistics Management and Development
• Truckmate Transportation Brokerage system Knowledge with WMS/SAP (3 +minimum years)
• Must be Willing to Travel
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of an processes and procedures improving service strategy and cost control plan of the business for entire operations
• Coordinates with other operational resources, developing the strategic and tactical direction for all locations, establish management processes and metrics for performance and be accountable for financial performance of the Logistics business.
• Develop and execute business plan strategies for operations
• Develop & manage KPIs for logistics
• Work within and implement company policy as outlined in the companies Code of Safe Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and OSHA Safety rules

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong leadership abilities in proven logistic field
• Ability to build trust and confidence with management and supervision
• Able to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment, ability to multi-task a must
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work as a cross-functional team member.
• Analytical skills with the ability to multi-task
• Computer proficiency, including Planner, Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio

$47,050.00 - $52,000.00 per year
