Job Description

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Logistics Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing organization, located in North Aurora, Illinois. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and has a proven track record of managing both people and shipping/logistics operations. This Logistics Supervisor role offers the chance to lead a team of production operators and a shipping coordinator while overseeing outbound freight and shipping operations for a company that ships throughout the U.S. and into Canada. If you're a strong people manager with hands-on shipping experience and thrive in a production environment, this could be the perfect next step. Logistics Supervisor Responsibilities Supervise and lead up to 12 Production Operators and 1 Shipping Coordinator Oversee day-to-day shipping and logistics operations within an active production environment Coordinate outbound freight and manage relationships with shipping vendors/carriers Direct the preparation of manufactured product for shipment, including palletizing Manage and adjust staffing based on daily production needs Hold team members accountable while fostering a collaborative, productive floor environment Partner with production and shipping personnel to ensure smooth, on-time outbound shipments Support domestic U.S. shipping operations, with occasional international shipments into Canada What's Needed? Experience working within a production/manufacturing environment Proven experience supervising or managing employees, ideally in a production setting Hands-on experience with domestic U.S. freight, shipping and shipping vendors/carriers Comfortable working on the production floor and understanding how production impacts shipping Ability to manage different personalities and hold team members accountable What's In It for Me? Key Details Compensation:
$35-$40 per hour
Schedule:
