Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Parts Manager to lead our parts department. In this pivotal role, you will oversee parts inventory control, supplier relationships, procurement processes, and ensure seamless parts operations across multiple dealership brands. Your leadership will ensure optimal parts availability, cost efficiency, and exceptional customer service. Duties Manage and supervise the parts department team to ensure efficient operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels of automotive parts and accessories. Coordinate with suppliers to source OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and negotiate pricing to optimize procurement costs. Implement demand planning strategies to forecast parts needs accurately and prevent stock shortages or overstock situations. Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for order processing, inventory tracking, and data entry. Monitor logistics, shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of parts while maintaining warehouse safety standards. Develop and enforce parts administration procedures related to procurement management, pricing strategies, and internal communication channels. Skills Extensive experience in supply chain management and logistics inventory management within the automotive or manufacturing sectors. Proven supplier management experience with strong negotiation skills for sourcing quality parts at competitive prices. Mechanical knowledge combined with automotive diagnostics expertise to understand vehicle systems and parts requirements. Proficiency in inventory management systems such as AS400 or other ERP platforms; familiarity with Parts administration tools is a plus. Warehouse management experience including forklift operation and shipping & receiving procedures. Strong understanding of automotive service processes, OEM standards, auto body repair parts sourcing, and equipment repair logistics. Excellent communication skills for internal coordination across departments like sales, procurement, auto body repair, and customer service.
