Automotive Parts Manager Confidential Dealership Opportunity — Olathe Market A growing automotive dealership in the Olathe market is looking for a high-performing Automotive Parts Manager who knows how to drive gross profit, control inventory, lead a team, and take ownership of the department. This is not a position for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo. We want a competitive, experienced leader who can identify problems, make decisions, hold people accountable, and build a parts department that consistently produces results. What You'll Be Responsible For Leading all daily parts department operations Increasing parts sales, gross profit, and overall departmental performance Managing inventory levels, obsolescence, special orders, and wholesale accounts Maintaining accurate pricing, billing, and manufacturer documentation Supporting service, collision, retail, and wholesale operations Recruiting, training, developing, and holding parts employees accountable Monitoring departmental expenses and protecting profitability Improving fill rates, inventory turns, and customer satisfaction Building strong relationships with technicians, advisors, vendors, and customers Establishing clear processes and ensuring they are followed every day We Want to Talk to
You If You:
Have proven automotive dealership parts management experience Understand dealership financial statements and parts department KPIs Know how to manage inventory without allowing obsolete parts to pile up Are comfortable setting expectations and holding employees accountable Have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Can handle pressure, solve problems, and make decisions quickly Are driven by performance, growth, and financial results Refuse to accept excuses, poor processes, or mediocre performance Experience with a major automotive manufacturer, dealership management system, wholesale parts operation, or collision center parts department is highly preferred.
