Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Trailer Mechanic to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trailers in the field. Your expertise will ensure that our customers fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready to meet the demands of their operations. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers, tractor-trailers, and heavy equipment. Conduct mechanical systems repair including suspensions, brakes, hydraulics, air brakes, shocks & struts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently. Diagnose automotive electrical systems and perform electrical repairs on vehicle systems such as lighting, sensors, and control modules. Maintain and service equipment ensuring optimal operation. Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and safety documentation promptly. Assist with fabrication tasks when necessary to modify or repair trailers or equipment components. Experience Proven experience or extensive background in heavy truck repair or industrial equipment maintenance. Skilled in welding, fabrication techniques including soldering and metal assembly. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs.
