We're seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead a high-performing manufacturing warehouse operation in Danville, KY. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and is passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development. In this role, you'll oversee all warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations while leading a team of 34 employees (9-10 direct reports) . You'll play a key role in driving warehouse transformation, improving operational efficiency, enhancing inventory accuracy, optimising transportation, and building a culture focused on safety and continuous improvement. If you're an experienced warehouse leader with strong SAP experience and a proven track record of improving warehouse operations, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Lead all warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling operations. Manage, coach, and develop a team of 34 warehouse employees, including 9-10 direct reports. Drive Lean initiatives, 5S, continuous improvement, and process standardisation. Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counting and inventory control. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, carrier management, freight optimisation, and transportation strategies. Monitor warehouse performance using KPIs and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure timely material flow to production and accurate customer order fulfilment. Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and warehouse best practices. Collaborate with production, supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams to support business objectives. Lead organisational change and help modernise warehouse processes and systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field. 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations. Strong experience with SAP ERP and warehouse management systems. Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, freight management, and transportation operations. Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Preferred Qualifications APICS Certification. Experience with Precision transportation software. Knowledge of import/export compliance, ITAR, or SOX requirements. Why Join Us?
