Exposure to loud noises and bloodborne/airborne pathogens may also be involved. Shift Primarily Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (1st shift); occasional evening, on-call, weekend, and/or holiday shifts may be required per departmental needs. Job Summary The Perioperative Supply Chain Assistant Manager will assist in directing and coordinating all activities within the Materials/Purchasing Services department on a daily basis. Duties include ordering materials and managing inventory; case cart building; implant set fulfillment; processing bill-only payments and specialty product requests; and monitoring consignments for both Chandler and Good Samaritan hospitals. This position will work closely with the EAG and MRP Controller on data integrity, accuracy, and efficiency supporting the Supply Chain clinical resources for margin improvement, patient billing review, and process integrity initiatives. Will also assist the Supply Chain Management department through collaboration with UKHC clinical departments in order to support successful distribution of products to support perioperative patient care, and will provide direct supervision and effective leadership of the Supply Chain by developing workflows to optimize staffing and service delivery.

Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities Leadership, inventory experience, customer service, and departmental coordination. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Healthcare supply chain management and/or receiving dock management experience preferred, as well as at least four years of inventory control experience. CMRP Certification within 6 months of hire.
