Inventory Supervisors are responsible for managing a team of specialists ensuring the availability of parts for the maintenance department in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Responsibilities of Position:
Supervise the inventory staff including, but not limited to, hiring, training, scheduling work assignments, managing performance, maintaining safety/compliance standards and processes, and handling disciplinary issues Manage & utilize inventory control programs while maintaining compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies and procedures Perform annual year end inventories and random quarterly audits Track and manage core parts Manage warranty processes and claims processing Maintain contact with business representatives from original equipment manufacturers for purchasing inventory parts and troubleshooting deficiencies with products and/or deliveries Review and control maintenance costs relating to personnel, purchasing, and inventory control Maintain proper records and files Order and reconcile fuel/CNG and maintenance compliance at fuel/CNG island Perform other duties as assigned

Position:
Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent verbal & written communication skills Ability to work well under pressure, take initiative, and maintain flexibility Ability to follow and motivate other to follow standard purchasing procedures and policies Proven problem-solving skills with strong sense of urgency Self-motivated and capable of working independently Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office; AS400, Lotus Notes, TMT, and vendor site applications a plus Experience & Knowledge Needed for
Position:
Minimum 2-3 years inventory, vehicle parts, or equipment supply experience Previous management experience preferred Experience with Navistar, Mack, McNeilus, and/or other original equipment manufacturers and related equipment preferred Waste industry experience preferred Physical Requirements in a
Regular Workday:
Frequently lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 20 lbs Occasionally lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 35 lbs Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 75 lbs Occasionally working outside in changing temperatures, wet/humid conditions Continuously working in areas of dust, odors, mist, gases, and other airborne matter Occasionally stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling Rarely climbing and/or balancing Frequently sitting/standing/walking
Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:
